Ivee Claude Cowork Workshop
From chat to workflows people already recognise.
An hour of live workflows
Ivee contracted me to run a live online Claude Cowork workshop for 150 attendees. People joined with different levels of AI experience, and I had an hour to introduce the tools and show how they could fit into everyday work.
I built the session around tasks people would recognise, talking through each step as it happened and taking questions from the chat.
From receipts to an expense report
We started with a folder of receipts and invoices. I showed Cowork reading the files, extracting the details from the images and putting them together into an expense report.
That gave us a practical way to explore working with local files and asking Claude to carry out a task across several documents.
Taking the work into Canva
Next, I used Claude in Chrome to turn blog posts into short social posts. Back in Claude, we passed those posts to Canva through its connector and used them to create visuals.
The sequence showed how the work could move between tools: starting with material in the browser, shaping it into copy and taking it into a design app.
Making the workflow reusable
To close the session, I turned the blog-to-social-to-Canva workflow into a Claude skill, building it live in front of the group. That gave people a way to see how a sequence of steps could become something they could run again with one command.
Everything was demonstrated live. People could watch the process, ask questions and hear me explain the steps as I worked through them.
